Dalewood Golf Club

Dalewood Golf Club is a semi-private year round facility offering the amenities of a prestigious urban club, located in Northumberland County.

Dalewood was designed by renowned golf course architect Robbie Robinson and opened in 1974. Dalewood features a par 71 championship course with tee selections that offer a wide variety of playing yardages. The golf course offers great conditions and the natural hazards make it a very challenging game of golf.

Dalewood also boasts the most scenic banquet facility in the area; the Great Hall can accommodate up to 175 people and is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows offering splendid views of the golf course and countryside.

The facility also offers a full service restaurant, bar, and barbecue patio area available to the public, members, and guests alike.

Headwaters Community Farm

Headwaters is named for the numerous underground springs on our property that meander down to Port Hope, converging to form the fast-flowing Gage’s Creek which feeds into Lake Ontario. We think the name epitomizes the many ideas that bubble up to the surface and flow freely on our farm. We love the idea of people coming together to share and and create new ways of thinking.

Headwaters Education Centre is the not-for-profit branch of our farm to promote sustainable and healthy living. It encompasses every acre of our property; our indoor teaching kitchen, outside yoga platform, activity tent, century barn, vegetable gardens, livestock areas, fields, forest and wetland. It’s in these spaces that together we create magical opportunities for groups, friends and families to get a taste of country life, breath the fresh air, taste real food and learn how to live a healthier, more natural lifestyle.
